Farmhouse Inn - Forestville, CA
This place is perfectly located just across the Golden Gate Bridge in Sonoma County. You'll find yourself in a rustic guest room with modern amenities and fresh flowers set amongst the perfect R&R backdrop in Forestville, CA. Take advantage of the large jetted tubs, Sonoma-made bath products, and a fireplace! If your own guest room spa treatment isn’t enough, there is an onsite spa available to book a pampered treatment of choice. You could be the significant other of the year and book a couples massage for the upcoming romantic holiday. Another reason to visit, the restaurant on site has a michelin star chef and local farmers to provide you with fresh locally raised and grown food. Which is really the only way to eat while vacationing.
Chateau du Sureau - Oakhurst, CA
Does she like feeling like a princess? Then this castle is calling her name. This gem is located 30 minutes southwest of Yosemite, so it is perfect for the woman who loves adventure and four star accommodations. We came here after camping and hiking around Yosemite to feel relaxed and refreshed before heading back home to the city. It was the perfect long weekend getaway for adventure and European-like romance. This hotel also offers an on site spa and award winning restaurant, Erna’s Elderberry House Restaurant. Located in Central California, there is a seemingly endless amount of local ingredients to use from the nearby farming communities. You will leave dinner feeling satisfied! One thing you will notice as you head back to your room after dinner is an opportunity to have their “elves” polish up your shoes for you overnight if you leave them outside of your door. I have never experienced this before and thought what a unique surprise. You will wake up the next morning with fresh coffee delivered to your room and be able to enjoy a European continental breakfast downstairs with other guests to send you off.

Park Winters - Winters, CA
From the name, you might think I am taking you to Utah. This estate is located in the farmlands of Yolo county. It is probably located in the best county for a YOLO (you only live once) weekend. The beautiful grounds make you feel far away, yet you are only a little over an hour away from San Francisco. The property has done a great job renovating with modern touches but keeping some of the old farmhouse estate charm. Park Winters also likes to support their local farmers by using locally grown ingredients for their beautifully paired dishes. The Farm Dinners come with a ticket which includes a self-guided tour through the gardens and farm before being seated at 6:30p for dinner service. The next morning, I would have coffee delivered to your room and look out at the lush gardens or wherever your guest room view may take you.
