I'm Tessa Marie and I like exploring the world.

As a Midwest girl born and raised in Wisconsin, I always dreamed of moving west. In 2014, San Francisco welcomed me with big open arms.

I'm a travel planner, fitness enthusiast, world explorer, and foodie.

After a decade of traveling, I became inspired to start documenting my experiences.

The Inside Scoop

The most exciting destinations of 2019

My boyfriend and I enjoyed Morocco in Africa so much that we want to explore more of the continent. Head south and you have lots of options for culture, coast, and wildlife. We heard of Namibia from another couple while we were in the Sahara Desert and they enjoyed their time exploring the beautiful sand dunes, South African hospitality, and never ending national parks. Some of the highlights mentioned that caught our attention included the Skeleton Coast camping, salt flats, red sand dunes, and spotting rare wildlife.

Central Vietnam has been getting lots of hype over the last few years. We will luckily be spending 10 days in the Country for a friend’s wedding in April. We are looking forward to the Vietnamese wedding and celebrations. Also looking forward to exploring Vietnam. Shortly after my boyfriend and I met, we found out one another was traveling to Thailand a few weeks later and decided to meet up in Bangkok. Since then, we both have talked about how much we want to visit Vietnam next in Southeast Asia.  We fly into Hanoi and plan to stay a day there exploring the city, visiting a temple or two, and of course eating to our hearts content on the streets. From Hanoi we head to Ha Long Bay on a boat for 2 days. I have always dreamed of visiting Ha Long Bay and can’t wait to see this natural beauty with my own two eyes. After being in the Bay, we head south to explore Hue, Da Nang, and Hoi An.

Valle De Guadalupe

I am in the process of talking my girls into the next long girls weekend trip here. Fingers crossed that we get to explore this beautiful wine region this spring! Being that we all live in San Francisco, California we are definitely spoiled with good wine regions nearby. However, we all love exploring new areas and each others company over a glass or two of vino. Plus the price is just right in Mexico. Food truck pairings plus the low key vibes are what makes this a must visit destination for 2019. Grab your passport and collect new stamps this year!

When traveling to a new country, I suggest consulting with an experienced traveler who has explored the country themselves. They can be your expert so you don’t have to stress about the details.
